Reservations are made at Bally’s and I’m planning on playing in the first $340 on Wednesday. I’m thinking that if it goes well, I will try and stay for the $340 on Friday as well.

I have looked at the past couple of years and it seems that the first couple of events get the highest numbers. Hope that it holds true this year.

I was looking at the schedule that is posted on Ceasar's website:
http://www.harrahs.com/images/non_image_assets/CAC_WSOP_2010_EVENT_SCHEDULE.PDF

Riddle me this Batman: How can event 11 be an entry into event 10 (the main event) if event 11 starts on the same day as day 2 of event 10???

From the bottom of page 2 of the schedule: "In Events 9 and 11 one voucher will be awarded to the 2010 Caesars Atlantic City Main Event for every 200 entrants."

id be less concerned with the event #, and the date of the event.

was looking at these events and thinking about playing one of the first few $340 events, but was confused about what you win from the $340 events, are they just satellites to the main event at the end??

How long does registration run for these events? I want to play the March 7 300+40 event but don't think I'll be able to get there til close to 11:30. Will I be ok?

Also, I don't have any Ceasers cards or anything so I'd have to go through that as well..

not sure about registration lenght, but I am sure it will go for at least an hour after the tourney starts. The tourney does not start till 12 noon, so that will give you some leway. Yes you have to have a players card.. not necessarly a poker card, but a Harrahs one none the less.... that should not take you too long to get though... the levels last 50 min, so you will have plenty of time to get to your table without having to worry about losing any significant amount of chips.... good luck with your game....

Thanks Mark. I appreciate the help.

Just to recap:

Get there by 11am, get a Harrah's card (which can be acquired at Ceasers, right?). Head over to registration table, and i'm in?

Looking forward to playing in event #1. The past few years, my schedule hasn't allowed for me to play in the other circuit events at Caesars or Harrahs, so I'm excited to finally play in a MTT this large.

I registered yesterday while I was down at Caesars so that I could avoid the lines on Wednesday morning. I'm registration #6! LOL.

Good luck to everyone playing in the series

Can someone tell me where the registration for this is? I haven't been to Caesars is a long time. I assume somewhere on the 2nd floor(like Harrahs), in one of the ballrooms?
I'm looking to get into the $340 event on Friday.

if it is in the same spot as last year, when you go up the escalator to the ball room where the event is being held there is a cage kind of on your right where they will have some ropes for a line. hard to describe actually where but once you get there anyone should be able to direct you to it. but try up near the ball room first, just make sure to have a harrahs card....

Or do what I do and just follow the herd
I really wanted to play in this one. I really like Caesar's ballroom upstairs. It's the little things that impress me hahaha.
I gave up on the ladies events (or retired as I say) and the only other ones that I was somewhat interested in are 2 day events. Maybe next year....

guess it would depend on the size of the field, but the end of day one is at 2am. i am guessing that you will play until then or until the final table, then come back for the following day. so however long it takes you to win a single table deep stack i guess would be the answer you are looking for...

I'm planing to go to event 4 on saturday. how long do you think the registration line will be for this event that falls on a weekend? Does getting there 1 hour earlier (already have a card) will be enough?

Not sure how long the lines will be. The main registration is just outside of the ball room. But you can register at the cage window by the poker room and its open 24 hours a day.
